Costavision, S.L. ,with its registered office at calle Pau Claris, no. 99-101 08009 Barcelona (Spain) and Fiscal Identity Code Number B-60669033, registered in the Barcelona Register of Companies in Volume 27653, sheet 0077, page 1213038 (hereinafter COSTAVISION), in accordance with the stipulations of Article 5 of Constitutional Law 5/1999 of 13 December 1999, concerning the Protection of Personal Data (hereinafter 'the LPPD') hereby informs the users of the website www.costavision.es (hereinafter “the Website”) of its policy concerning personal data protection, so that they can deliberately, freely and voluntarily decide if they wish to provide COSTAVISION with the personal details requested of them on the Website for the provision of its services.

Users are also informed of the inclusion in a file of the personal data gathered, of which COSTAVISION is the owner and for which it is legally responsible, and that it processes them automatically in order to supply them to those involved in providing the services requested by the user. COSTAVISION will also use the data supplied by the user for the maintenance of the contractual relationship established with COSTAVISION, to inform users of offers and promotions that may be of interest to them, for the management, administration, provision, expansion and improvement of the services to which the user decides to subscribe, register, or use the adaptation of these services to users' preferences and tastes, the study of the use of services by users, the design of new services related to these services, and the sending of updates to services, the sending, by traditional and electronic means, of technical, operational and commercial information concerning the products and services offered by COSTAVISION or through COSTAVISION at present and in the future. The purpose of the gathering and automated processing of personal data also includes sending survey forms, which the user is not obliged to answer.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, it will be necessary to complete all the required data in the forms. In the event that all the data deemed necessary is not provided, COSTAVISION may, depending on the case, not register the user, or deny the specific service requested.

The user must complete the forms with true, exact, complete and up to date data, being liable for the damages that may arise as a result of incorrect completion of forms with false, imprecise, incomplete or out of date data.

COSTAVISION has adopted the security levels for the protection of personal data required by the current legislation concerning data protection, and has installed the necessary technical and organisational measures to prevent their loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorised access and other possible risks.

COSTAVISION also undertakes to fulfil its obligation of secrecy concerning the data contained in the automated file, established in the applicable data protection legislation.

The user or person representing them may at any time exercise their right of access, correction, cancellation and, if necessary, opposition in accordance with the stipulations of the LPPD and other applicable regulations to that end, by notifying COSTAVISION in writing, with the user’s identity established, at its address at Calle Pau Claris 99-101, 08009 Barcelona (Spain).

COSTAVISION hereby notifies its users that it uses cookies when the user is browsing on the various screens and pages of the website. The cookies used by COSTAVISION are stored on the user's hard disk, but they cannot read the data contained therein or read cookie files created by other suppliers. However, users may prevent the generation of cookies by selecting the appropriate option in their browser programme. COSTAVISION uses cookies in order to recognise registered users and to provide them with a personalised and individual service in accordance with their needs. In the event of COSTAVISION providing any type of special service in which specific provisions regarding personal data protection other than these are determined, the application of the particular regulations for that service will take priority over those above, in the event of a discrepancy.
